Meeting Minutes, March 14, 2006
Chairman Halsey Sprecher called the meeting to order at 7:30pm. Supervisor Tom Murphy was absent. Ron Lins made a motion to approve the agenda as written. Dave Lundgren seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Ron.Lins made a motion to approve the minutes and treasurers reports as written. Dave Lundgren seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Then Steve Muchow from Sauk County Highway Depart. talked to the Beard about the County plans this summer to replace old culverts and to lower a knoll on a curve on Old Bluff Trail. The Board asked Steve to get them costs for replacing culverts on the Town's portion of Old Bluff Trail. Galen Alwin a farmer along Old Bluff Trail asked about burying irrigation pipe under Old Bluff Trail. The Board would like Galen to bury his pipe at same time the County is doing the culvert work.
Next Mark Bender talked to the Board about his desire to develop 23.4 acres near the junction of highway 60 and Old Bluff Trail. The Board told Mark that a public hearing is needed before they could make a decision, and he should contact the Clerk to set a date for the hearing.
Next Juliana Clausen talked to the Board about protecting Eagles along the Wisconsin River. The Board told her to contact the Villages because the area she was talking about under their zoning laws.
Next the Board discussed a land sale from Roger Lindloff to Kevin Buckert. The land is a wooded area along Old 0 road. Dave Lundgren made a motion to approve the land sale outlined in the C.S.M. John Lichtenheld seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Next Dave Lundgren made a motion to raise election worker wage to $8.00 per hour. Ron Lins Seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Next the Board decided to use 5 election workers at the spring election on April 4, 2006.
Next John Lichtenheld made a motion to suspend the Town's Gruber Grove Dredging Ordinance. Ron Lins seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Next John Lichtenheld made a motion to hold the annual meeting at the Townhall on April 4,2006 at 7:00pm. Ron Lins seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Next John Lichtenheld made a motion to authorize Ron Lins to have the town's Attorney write up a land transfer from Sauk Prairie Airport Inc. to Curt Mueller. Halsey Sprecher seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Next Ron Lins made a motion to have Halsey Sprecher sign the 2006 Kraemer Querry price list. John Lichtenheld seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Next Ron Lins made a motion to have the Board sign the 2006 Financial Statement. Dave Lundgren seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Next Ron Lins made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Dave Lundgren seconded the motion. Motion passed.
