Meeting Minutes, 14 September, 2004
Chairman Halsey Sprecher called the meeting to order at 8:00 pm.
Supervisor John Lichtenheld was absent.
Halsey Sprecher made a motion to approve the agenda. Ron Lins seconded the motion. Motion passed.
The Clerk read the August minutes and Treasurers report which were approved as read.
Halsey started the meeting by telling the board that Sauk County does aerial photographs and at a lower cost than the quote the town received from a private company.
Next Jamie Foster talked to the board about his plans for setting up a Wildlife Preserve on land along Hwy. 60. The board didn't have a problem with his plans but asked to see the final setup when finished.
Next, Ted and Kleo Harris requested a permit to build a sun porch on their house. Ron Lins made a motion to approve the request contingent on approval by Sauk Co. Planning and Zoning. Halsey Sprecher seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Next Ron Lins made a motion to approve Jack Wyttenbacks building permit request for Hog finishing barns next to the existing barns on Old Bluff Trail. Halsey Sprecher seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Next, Ron Lins made a motion to approve Bob and Joan Weiss's request to a farm consolidation C.S.M. for their farm off Otter Creek Road. Halsey Sprecher seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Next, Ron Lins made a motion to approve Resolution 2004-7 adopting the Highway 12 Corridor Growth Management Plan: Long Range U.S. Highway 12 Alternatives Study. Halsey Sprecher seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Next, Halsey Sprecher made a motion to postpone making a decision concerning the Bender Prairie View Estates Development until meeting with the town’s attorney. Ron Lins seconded the motion. Motion passed. The board told Dennis they felt they would have a decision by the October Board Meeting.
Meeting adjourned at 9.40 pm.
