Meeting Minutes, August 10, 2004
Chairman Halsey Sprecher called the meeting to order at 8:00 pm.
Ron Lins made a motion to approve the agenda. John Lichtenheld seconded the motion. Motion passed.
The Clerk read the July minutes and Treasurers report which were approved as read.
The board started by deciding to have Art Mueller go to the LUC with his building request before making a decision on his request.
Next, the board decided to get more information concerning caged wild animals in the township be for reacting on a resolution concerning that issue.
Next, the board asked Halsey to check into the Aerial Photography of the township before deciding to do it or not.
Next, the board discussed bids for a new tractor and decided to wait before buying. Ron Lins made a motion to lease a tractor for fall mowing of the towns ditches.
John Lichtenheld seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Dennis Bender then presented plans for his Prairie View Estate Development and indicated he might want to have his say at a public hearing. The board and Dennis decided on either Thursday, Sept. 16, 2004 or Thursday, Sept. 23, 2004 to hold a possible continuation of the Bender Public Hearing depending on which date Dennis chooses.
Next, Ron Lins made a motion to use 5 election workers at the Sept. 14, 2004 election. John Lichtenheld seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Next, Ron Lins made a motion to adjourn the meeting. John Lichtenheld seconded the motion. Motion passed.
