Meeting Minutes, 9 August, 2005
Chairman Halsey Sprecher called the meeting to order at 7:30 PM. All board members were present. Tom Murphy made a motion to approve the agenda. Ron Lins seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Tom Murphy made a motion to approve the minutes and treasurers reports as presented. Dave Lundgren seconded the motion. Motion passed.
First on the agenda was Field Service Captain for the Sauk County Sheriff Dept. Chip Meister. He told the board about various Sheriff Department activities that go on in the Town of Prairie du Sac and answered board questions concerning speed limits.
Next, Gary Connors requested a 5 acre farm consolidation for the farm buildings on the farm he purchased off Skunk Valley Road. Dave Lundgren made a motion to approve the C.S.M. for the farm consolidation for Gary Connors. Ron Lins seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.
The board then approved the following licenses - Sauk Prairie Trap and Skeet Club – Liquor License - Ron Lins motion to approve, John Lichtenheld seconded.

Next, John Lichtenheld made a motion to approve Resolution 2005-05 having the Town of Prairie du Sac join the Sauk County Hazard Mitigation Plan. Ron Lins seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.
Next, Ron Lins told the board that Curt Mueller was working on a deal to purchase the airport from Bart Olson.
Next, Judy Schroeder talked to the board about the possibility of sending a short report to the towns residents regarding the Comprehensive Plan. The board told Judy they would think the idea over and decide at a later date
Daryl Hanson asked the board to OK his plan to build a 24' x 30' shed on his lot in Har-Low Acres. The board told him to clear the shed request with the Sauk County Planning & Zoning, making sure the property line set backs were OK. Then he could get a building permit from M.E.I
Next, Ron Lins made a motion to approve spending $143,276.58 on August checks. Dave Lundgren seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.
Next, John Lichtenheld made a motion to adjourn. Ron Lins seconded the motion. Motion passed.
