Meeting Minutes, 8 November 2004

Chairman Halsey Sprecher called the meeting to order at 8:35 pm. Supervisor John Lichtenheld requested the board add Bender Development and Comprehensive planning to the meeting agenda. Ron Lins made a motion to approve the agenda with the two additional items. John Lichtenheld seconded the motion. Motion passed.

The clerk read the October's minutes and treasurers report, which were approved as read.

First business item was a request by Hank and Johanna Griesen for a building permit approval for 2 houses on their 40-acre dairy operation. The Towns LUC had recommended approval of the permits. John Lichtenheld made a motion to approve the building permits with notations on the Deed Restricting any future house additions and restricting the owners ability to split off the houses from the farming operation. Ron Lins seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.

Next, John Lichtenheld made a motion to direct the clerk to draft the proper wording of a resolution to create a five-member town board and to have that resolution ready for the December 2004 board meeting. Ron Lins seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.

Next John Lichtenheld made a motion to oppose approving a proposed amendment, exempting units of government from getting proper permits before constructing new communication towers. Ron Lins seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.

Next, Ron Lins made a motion to approve paying two unpaid ambulance bills. John Lichtenheld seconded the motion. Motion passed.

Next, Ron Lins told the board of the Ambulance Commissions desire to build a new building on a lot they own in Sauk City.

Next, the board decided to hold a Town Comprehensive Planning meeting on Wednesday, November 17, 2004 following the Planning meeting with the villages.

 Meeting adjourned at 9:50 pm.
