Meeting Minutes, 14 June, 2005
Chairman Halsey Sprecher called the meeting to order at 7:30 PM. All board members were present. Halsey Sprecher added the Windings Monitoring Wells to the agenda and moved opening of Road Bids to # 5 on the agenda. Tom Murphy made a motion to approve the agenda with the changes added. Dave Lundgren seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Tom Murphy made a motion to approve the May minutes and Treasurers reports as written. Dave Lundgren seconded the motion: Motion passed.
First the board opened the sealed road bids. Ron Lins made a motion to have D.L. Gasser reconstruct both Old Bluff Trail south of Hwy 60 for $32,913.25 and Von Wald Road north of Prairie Road for $33,932.50. John Lichtenheld seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.
Next, Ron Lins made a motion to have Scott Construction seal coat Zander Ct. and Elsing Ct. for $5,647.00. Tom Murphy seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.
The board then discussed how to coordinate reconstruction of Old Bluff Trail with the residents living along the road. The road is going to be widen to 22 feet, which will cause the moving of mail box's and driveways.
Next, the board told Gary Nolden he needed to go to the Village of Prairie du Sac with his building request because he lives within the E.T. area.
Next Charles Pursich of the Shaw Co. talked to the board about putting monitoring wells in the Windings. John Lichtenheld made a motion to approve putting monitoring wells on Woodford Lane or Timbercrest Lane. Ron Lins seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.
The board then decided to talk to Sauk County Highway Department about shoulder road work along some of the gravel river roads.
Next, the board discussed financing of the Fire District Assessment for the Fire Station addition. Ron Lins made a motion to take out a loan for $130,000.00 at 3.50% for a period of 5 years from the Board of Commissioners of Public Lands. John Lichtenheld seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.
Next, the following licenses were acted on. Liquor License for Bucksnort Saloon. Tom Murphy motion to approve Dave Lundgren seconded. Motion passed.
Cigarette License for Bucksnort Saloon. Tom Murphy motion to approve. Dave Lundgren seconded. Motion passed.
Operators License for Kelly Swalhum. Tom Murphy motion to approve. Dave Lundgren seconded. Motion passed.
Operators License for Sindi Stueber. Tom Murphy Motion to approve. Dave Lundgren seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Operators License for May Osborne. Tom Murphy motion to approve. Dave Lundgren seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Next, Ron Lins made a motion to pay an unpaid Ambulance bill of $118.00 belonging to Jeremiah Wiley. Tom Murphy seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Next, Ron Lins made a motion to approve spending $42,606.19 for June expenditures. John Lichtenheld seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.
Tom Murphy then made a motion to adjourn. Dave Lundgren seconded the motion. Motion passed.
