
Meeting Minutes, 11 April, 2006
Chairman Halsey Sprecher called the meeting to order at 7:50pm.
Halsey Sprecher asked to move the W.T.A. large animal agenda item up to #4 on the agenda. Dave Lundgren made a motion to approve the agenda with the requested change. Ron Lins seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Tom Murphy made a motion to approve the minutes and treasurers reports as written. Dave Lundgren seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Lance Gurney from Sauk Co. Planning and Zoning explained to the Board the reasons for the new large livestock location siting rules from the state. The Board decided not to sign the W.T.A. resolution for large animal farms at this time, but instead to work with Sauk Co. Planning and Zoning in setting up regulations concerning large animal farms.
Next Kevin Olson asked the Board for a building permit for a shed. Kevin lives along highway 60 near the Wisconsin River. The Board told him to check with Sauk Co. Planning and Zoning to make sure the building site would not be in a restricted area.
Next the Board approved the following Liquor Operator Licenses.Ron Lins made a motion to approve a license for, Timothy Beach. John Lichtenheld seconded the motion. Motion passed.

Ron Lins made a motion to approve a license for Tim Thompson. John Lichtenheld seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Ron Lins made a motion to approve a license for Phil Wechter. John LichtenhellI seconded the motion. Motion passed.

Next the Board set the annual road inspection date for Thursday April 27, 2006 at 3:00pm.
Next the Board discussed the New Ethics Law . Proposal, SB 1 by Representative Stephen Freese. Chairman Halsey Sprecher made a motion to have Supervisor John Lichtenheld draft a letter opposing the New Ethics Law Proposal, SB 1 because it requires local officials to file a financial statement, and to send the letter to Representative Stephen Freese along with sending a copy to Senator Dale Schultz. Supervisor Ron Lins seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.
Next Ron Lins made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Dave Lundgren seconded the motion. Motion passed.
