Meeting Minutes, 10 April, 2007
Chairman Halsey Sprecher called the meeting to order at 7:30pm. Supervisor John Lichtenheld was absent.
Chairman Sprecher swear in the newly elected Town officials, Chairman Ron Lins, Supervisor Tom Schneller, Treasurer Richard Meier, and Clerk Richard Nolden.
Tom Murphy made a motion to approve the agenda. Dave Lundgren seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Tom Murphy made a motion to approve the March minutes and treasurers reports as written. Dave Lundgren seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Next Dave Lundgren made a motion to approve a storage shed building permit for Chris Ferguson. Tom Murphy seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Next the Board decided to hold off making a decision on a building permit for Scott Pobjoy until the May meeting so they can check into a development covenant for the Pine Circle area.
Next Bill Backus from Kapitan Engineering had questions about the Exchange Road right a way. The Board decided that the intent of the original Board ruling in 1956 was that Exchange Road was to be a 4 rod road and it is to stay that way. The Board also wants the minutes to show that no previous owners along Exchange Road can come back to claim back property taxes. Tom Murphy made a motion to have Kapitan Engineering bring to the Town Chairman a letter of clarification of the roads intent for his signature. Tom Schneller seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Next the Board decided to hold off making a decision concerning Dave Dueholm's Appraisal bid until the May meeting so to clarify the exact amount for the revaluation Bid.
Next, Dave Lundgren made a motion to approve the L.U.C. Ordinance 07-1 Final Draft. Rom Murphy seconded the motion. Motion passed 3 to 1 with Tom Murphy opposing.
Next, the board decided to hold B.O.R. on Tuesday, May 22, 2007 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Next, the board decided to hold Road inspections on Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at 2:00 pm.
Next, the board appointed Tom Schneller to replace Ron Lins on the E.T. committee and Dave Lundgren to replace Terry Steuber on the L.U. commission.
Next, Dave Lundgren made a motion to spend $47,947.35 in April Checks. Tom Schneller seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Next, Dave Lundgren made a motion to adjourn. Tom Schneller seconded the motion. Motion passed.
