Meeting Minutes, 10 May, 2005
Chairman Halsey Sprecher called the meeting to order at 7.30 PM. All board members were present John Lichtenheld made a motion to approved the agenda, Ron Lins seconded the motion. Motion passed.
The Clerk read the April minutes and Treasurers reports. Tom Murphy made a motion to approve the reports as read. Dave Lundgren seconded the motion. Motion passed
First on the agenda was Gary Comers who asked the board to approve a building and site permit for a new house. Ron Lins made a motion to approve the building and site permits as long as the old house on that site is removed within one year. Tom Murphy, seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.
Next, Joel Wyttenbach asked the board to approve his request for a Special Exception Rule concerning his wish to put part of his driveway in the 100 year flood plain. Halsey Sprecher male a motion to approve Joels request and to have the clerk send a letter to Sank County Planning and Zoning showing the Town Boards support for the request. Dave Lundgren seconded the motion. Motion posted unanimously.
Then Richard Talmage. asked the board to post a speed limit on Exchange Road. The board said they would study the idea and make a decision at a later date.
Next, Halsey Sprecher made a motion to nominate Janine Godfraux-Leystra to fill the vacant positions on the Towns Land Use and the E.T Committee. Ron Lins seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.
Next, the board discussed passing a resolution designed to control flooding and erosion of Otter Creek and to apply for a planning grant for the project Halsey Sprecher read the proposed resolution 2005-01 to the board. John Lichtenheld made a motion to approve resolution 2005-01. Tom Murphy seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.
The board then decided to have the clerk e-mail the agenda, minutes and treasurers reports to the board members prior to the monthly meetings.
Next, John Lichtenheld made a motion to approve the new ambulance service agreement. Tom Murphy seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously-
Ron Lins then made a motion to spend $4,457.74 in May checks.
Tom Murphy seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.
John Lichtenheld made a motion to adjourn. Ron Lins seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Meeting adjourned at 9:20 PM.
